I am loving the seventies trend at the moment! (.. well apart from those dreaded flares! They need to stay in the seventies! I do enjoy a good wide leg trouser but I am not a fan of the jean flare at current) Anyway apart from that! I am so glad it has been such Autumnal statement this season! .. Button through a-line skirts, bell sleeved shirts, chunky boots, mustards, burgundies and suede, suede, suede!!! The below outfit is unfortunately styled on a budget, so no it is not a real suede skirt but a who can tell!! Its a suedette A-line purchase from Oasis with a cheeky discount when I worked there, ohh how I miss that now! I thought a lovely white pussy-bow blouse would go nicely with this outfit and I love the wide sleeves I feel as though I am dressing up in some high premium clothing from the Victoriana time when my sleeves are long, I know that sounds crazy, I don’t know why it just make me feel prestige! Haha! It is also great for wearing to work! So it is a multi-purpose buy! I love this Black Gilet because the shoulders are not a sharp cut but they cover the shoulders just enough to give the gilet a really nice finish whilst still keeping it sleeveless. Suedette again I have opted for some calf boots to finish off the look! I find the height of these boots make my legs look slightly longer and give just enough gap between the skirt and boot to show enough leg for them to look elongated as they say!
The Abigail Skirt, £38
Pussy-bow Blouse, £42
Faux Fur Gilet, was £42, now £29.40!!
Slouchy Block Heel Boot £88
This cream gilet I really love, from its twisty faux fur I feel it offers a warmer look to the outfit, paired with some block heeled boots, which are slightly higher than the normal chelsea boot, however if your short like me this is a great advantage! As you do not look like your in killed heeled boots, but they do give you a extra few inches on your height leaving you feeling abit more stretched out! As I like to say!
The Ankle Boots, £68
Long Faux Fur Gilet, £58
Jade Stretch Skinny Black, was £40, now £32!!
Ribbed Roll Neck Jumper £18
Parka .. this is a well needed statement in the wardrobe during the winter period!.. I just love parkas they are great in the wind and rain because of their big hood they can keep your hair from looking like you have had a fight with a shower! They are perfect for that casual look, on a cold Sunday afternoon walk and they are so warm! Especially this one with the fur inside! I decided to opt for a Navy this year as I feel this has been a key colour in fashion this season and I fancied a change from the ordinary khaki I normally have. This is another oasis discount purchase, however they have now reduced it, this one is called Bella if you are looking to purchase. . . Have any of you ever wondered why clothes have names,, well here’s a little inside information for you all our named clothes were actually named after people in the office! How cool is that! It is mainly the team who looks after that particular department,, but we even had requests from marketing for our outerwear range!
The Bella Faux Fur Parka, was £88, now £70.40!!
